Anyone listening to the AMD webcast? Ben Anixter is claiming the XP 2000 and + (sic) outperforms any P4. He also said "why didn't we use RDRAM on the P4". Think he meant XP. In the slides, slide 9 shows Hammer all across Q4, as before, but then he said that "Hammer is coming out EOY". I think it just slipped another quarter. He called SOI "Silicon Insulator". Then out of the blue he mentioned Hammer again: said we'd heard the word "imminent", now he says they have seen first silicon and results so far have met all expectations, giving confidence they can ship Hammer by year end. There's the quarter slip again. Anixter is not a very good speaker. Tony
