Ammo didn't mention the cold, just the earthquake. He adores LA.... everything about it. He has a role in a play-- we were thrilled- it's the lead. I had visions of Lear, Stanley Kowalski, Volpone.... no, mom, it's an original work by a student. I play this guy who has a pole through his head, but he has a really good attitude. A pole. Though his head. My first response was to remind him how much money we've put into that head with orthodontists, dermatologists, and private schools. NO METHOD ACTING. NO POLES! He doesn't want us to fly out to see him in this. But we will anyway. I have a large investment in that head.
