I believe on October 19, Lay was presenting before an audience of Enron employees. He insited an analyst pegged the company at 40, another at 80--Lay, mildly declared he thought the company's true value was somewhere near the 50-buck mark. Kudlow and Cramer played this video last night on CNBC.

Interestingly, CIO Magazine labeled Enron's hard-working board of directors as one of the Top Five.
