Off-Topic: Anyone wanting to see who is giving Norton Utilities a run for their money? They have evidently studied the strengths and weaknesses of Norton disk utilities. There are a few cons, but the pro's out weight this one by the 10's. I have loaded this one and find that the diskminder application is programmed to avoid the annoying restarts that slow down Norton disk Doctor and Microsoft Scandisk. Diskminder's ability to recognize non-ANSI file name characters means it does a better job cleaning up corrupted file and directory entries...and is faster and speeds up disk performance much better. www4.zdnet.com helixsoftware.com ps...Dave!
