yeah, BUT, if it's true that they shorted 55 million shares and there are only 28 million in the float, they will be unable to produce the shares when they get called in for a restructuring...the banks will call for the borrowed shares that DON'T EXIST, and they will be forced to buy in the open market....it will be a spiral UPWARDS, as there is no stock to be bought?????? Go figure...I have heard of this happening once before but I don't know what the ultimate outcome was...alot of bankruptcies of shady firms and some lawsuits as the stock price went up 180 points.....don't think it could happen? Let's wait and see, just 3 more weeks to see if they can do the restructuring....which makes me wonder? what's the offshore short position in ASTN? and are they working on a similar type restructuring? just asking.....
