Perhaps 2002 will be the year of the big one.

Most people haven't bothered to pay attention to the information available. It has happened before. If you look at a map. Catalina Island over to the Palos Verdes peninsula is actually a mountain range. Most of it is underwater. In that basin to the land side of that mountain range; They have found ancient roads. So somebody was living at a beautifull port that fell off into the ocean. If the same amount of land were to fall off again; The resulting tidal wave would probably wipe out most of Southern California. That is if the big one doesn't result in everything on the ocean side of the San Andreas fault falling off. That would be a whole lot of land. The resulting tidal wave should probably wipe out most cities around the Pacific ocean.
