MrB, I enjoy this discussion and do not want to put a :) everywhere. Nothing wrong with being a janitor, though. I agree with all you say in your last post. What does Citibank do with the $54 ? The debtor has lost $54 purchasing power, but Citibank will not sit on it. They'll spend it or invest it or pay it out as dividends. The money just has been redistributed. Maybe I should have taken economics in college. Then I would be sure. Not necessarily right - but sure. <G> GM
