FED and SEC can stop making the same mistakes. Mistakes IMO being looseness with rules and money supply. That is still going on. I was hopeful about the SEC's more recent statements on pro forma, but some more action needs to be taken. If you look at TXN's and EMLX's (and many others including SUNW) latest earnings reports you see pro forma still abounds despite the SEC warnings. Let's hope the SEC goes beyond the warnings and starts dishing out heavy fines and if necessary prison sentences. Deceiving the investing public should stop. Pro forma is deceit of the unsophisticated investor.

Edit - and this margin business where you can buy more stock than you can afford is ludicrous IMO.
