No major current operations but see Seagate Resources CDNX which has now bought Quartz mountain formerly owned by Atlas who discovered it in the late 1980's Epithermal model in volcanics. Has a high grade core. Difficult to permit since the Oregonians outlawed cyanide. Newmont had an option on the property at one time. Geologically, southern Oregon is an extension of Nevada.
