You will buy a new PC primarily because at some point something will fail, 4 years is OLD for a PC. Hard drive or video card or MB will fail and at this point you'll realize that its only a small amount of money more for a whole new computer than it is to fix what is wrong so even if you are like me and have built computers from scratch for years you won't want to go through the BS for such a small difference in price. When friends ask me to help them replace something I offer to shop for a new one for them now because I can get them so cheap.

Of course this means nothing for INTC, they can't make money with simple replacement, they need growth of the whole market. I remember when they sold their processors for a lot more than the price of the whole box today.
