Agreed, counting is effectively employeed by a small number of gamers on single and double deck shoes. A rich deck gives both dealer and players alike a liklihood of a winner. Trends.. ie winning hands, dealer busts, quick table counts of whats out there (when multiple players) offer more insight to playing out your bet Money management is far more important a topic to discuss in terms of preservation of capital, and maximizing house money when you are hot. Would love to hear any successful strategies, or discussion on the topic by private message. Dont want to clog up the thread with "somewhat unrelated material".
