TRI-GUY: Welcome to the club. Actually, takeover is one of the words that is seldom used on this thread. It seems that the honorable president of phLAT, Mr. Filipowski, and the CEO of the prime suspect for takeover (Computer Associates) don't see eye to eye.
I'm not sure whether that's because of the difference in their heighths, or some other reason. But, every time takeover, or merger, or acquisition is mentioned ... things get real quiet.
On the other hand, phLAT has been on the acquiring end more than their phair share in the past phew years. Phortunately, the phurious rate of acquiring seems to have diminished.
If you're just now joining the ranks of the phortunate phew to own phabulously phrenetic phLAT, you might have joined at just the right time. Things are looking up (that's easy, when you're way down here on the phLAT phloor!).
