Bill,
Looking forward to your presentation.
Some comments Re: BBRC chart with BNS
Using the RedLine proxy [MSWIN Stoch(8,5)] didn't show as dramaticly as Redline did on your chart. It had a false turnup a few days before the one Redline showed, and then had a weaker turnup the second time.
I have been interpreting your system as a play between Redline, BNS(Yellow), inverted Chaiken Osc (Blue), with a glance at White to check for trend, although it's not always consistent. This interplay is often pronounced, with associated upward price changes, when triggered after CCI(13) reversals from <-100.
I've noticed opportunities, generally, when Yellow starts moving up from an extreme low; also when Blue suddenly snaps down from it's 28-day high. Based on the BBRC chart, I see more clearly Redline's value as an oversold indicator (with short-term sensitivity).
About Metastock, it's powerful enough to let me tie myself in knots for days on end and then untangle myself too. It's good, but not rock solid - I find it locks up on me sometimes twice a night, or leaves my cursor with problems requiring a reboot. I notice problems more often if I'm trying to seriously run other software with it (QP, Excel, Word, Netscape) and open multiple charts. (I have plenty of RAM - I think it probably has some memory leaks). From the posts here, you and BNS have got people seriously thinking about TradeStation!
Best wishes,
