I use the regressive betting system along with basic strategy. Statistically, card counting only gives you an additional 1 to 2 percent advantage over basic strategy if you bet accordingly. I'm much too lazy to employ counting for such a slim advantage.

I believe the betting system is more important. I'll bet double the table limit, If I win, I'll pull back and bet the table limit. If I win the second time (twice in a row), and increase my bet by the table limit until I lose a hand. Then start over again. This way I'll always come out ahead on a chopping table. It's been very effective. I'll also walk after a 20-30 percent gain.

However, if you get bunches of breaking hands in a row while the dealer keeps drawing five cards to a 21 there's no system in the world to help you! I'll walk if I lose four hands in a row, either for the night, or go have a drink and come back later.
