I was on the Administration's side.

The Democrats created the Independent Counsel to harass Republicans. Appallingly, it bit them on the derriere, in the case of Clinton. It is true, there was too much money, and no incentive for prosecutorial discretion. But that was true in Iran- Contra, too. I actually think that Starr behaved more professionally than Walsh, who was overturned on appeal more than once....
