Have you ever been to Titusville Pa? That's where Col Drake had the first successful oil well hit in 1857.

I wonder what the area looks like today.

It's interesting that the oil industry went through a period of 20 years or more in the 1860's and 1870's where there was widespread concerns that the Penn. fields might dry up and the would be the end of the Petroleum and Refining industries in the US.
