Datek service WAS quite good in terms of execution, confirmation, and responding to queiries. But no more; it was a thing of the past. Like Etrade, apparently it has accepted too many users beyond its capacity. Today, I called their 212 number twice (they put me on hold for 7 minutes at one time) and emailed them once regarding CSCC shares. They gave me three different answers. The server was not working, the quotes were incorrect, and the email confirmations disappeared. It is time to move to a brokerage with better service. I challenge Datek representatives to respond to this post.
