FWIW...I had considered upgrading to XP but several friends recently purchased new machines with XP and both are incredibly slow. One is a Dell and the other a Toshiba laptop. Both should be MUCH faster than my 366 toshiba celeron with 64 megs of ram. Unfortunately, both are very doggy by comparison so I will stay with my w98SE system.
