My expectations? This is a very volatile stock. It will go up and down. If I keep shorting as it goes up, I'll profit when it goes down.
I have no objection to you making money on the way up while I wait. It won't be my money you are taking.

As I've said before, it seems to me that the price already includes all likely positive surprises. Do you think it includes all likely negatives? See my following post to Richard Singer.

Why do you characterise the recent price action as "continued strength"? The standard technical indicators (e.g. those at stocksmart.com, or E*Trade's interactive charts) read tepid at best. VVUS bounced hard off the 26's intraday four times recently. Is it forming a new base? Who knows?

You've really drawn me out, but I've actually made most of these points before on this thread. Read the 10-Q for an exhaustive list of negative possibilities.
