JXM-

Bob clearly put some marbles in his mouth for that verse.

excellent bobservation.

if you put more marbles in yer mouf you
fill up the holes where ambiguous, decaying words
yoosta lurk. it ain't the lyrics that communicate...
it's the sound of them escaping.

when you look up at the sky at night you
don't see words... and words can't convey
what's up there.

"the voices before her were trumpets and tympani
violins, basses and woodwinds and cellos..."
-dar williams

that's the only way to say what's up there.

bobber knows the value of marbles. 30 seconds
blowing into the harmonica is worth 30 years
of writing poems. to an artist, the voice is
a musical instrument. if you articulate so clearly
that the meaning of the word overpowers the sound
of the word escaping... you've probably phuckked up
what you were trying to say.

"whoooweeeil... iiiiihea... dinnnn meeeeeeeen...
ta treeeecha sOOOOoooooOOOoo beeeeHAADDDD..."
