BTW, the WEF people had a "Nightcap" session tonight moderated by Charlie Rose and featuring, among others, Bono of U2. He was quite good I thought at expressing the arguments of the "Jubilee" concept of debt forgiveness. And was quite convincing when discussing the hypocrisy of the OECD in imposing daunting trade barriers on LDCs in their attempts to join the world's erstwhile and deviously-named "Free Markets". Good theatre. And all I could think was that the WEF heavies were all somewhere else not paying the least bit of attention to the humanitarian do-gooders.
