He also predicted the "inevitable" demise of large server systems, exposing a potential conflict of interest with longtime ally Sun Microsystems Inc. Sounds like Intel's entire server business is at risk from clustered dual processor Athlons - and that all that time and money put into Itanium was a total waste...
