Some info about oil supply and demand. In case anyone cares, It has recently been discovered that Ford stockpiled huge amounts of Palladium last year when there were concerns about shortages. Palladium is a key export of Russia. There are concerns that Ford will be forced to start selling Palladium on the open market to raise cash, which will destabilize prices. If that happens Russia is likely to substantially hike oil exports, whether secretly or openly. I mention this just in case anyone is betting on an oil embargo as a possible response from the arab world to the anti-terrorism campaign.
