You enjoy using words like "ignore valuations" , "Greater Fool" , "ignorant" and "bubble." None of these present an argument, all they do is ridicule. If you have such disdain for those who invest in Semiconductor Equipment stocks, why should we, who fall under your insults, bother answering you? I won't give you a long answer, because frankly I doubt you have an open mind, but the short answer is that this is a great industry. It produces, like Ian said, the new technology that is driving economic growth in the world. The pace of innovation in the semiconductor industry makes it such that most equipment needs to be replaced every few years. If you had to buy a new home every five years (or less), do you think homebuilding stocks would be a good investment? Well, I'm going back to my fool's corner and ignore valuations some more. May I suggest you use a little more tact when posting, there really are some very smart people here that you might learn something from?
