Janet Reno through her representative warned that cult leader that he had better obey the law. By the way, you do realize that we are all expected to obey the laws of the U.S., don't you? That's how a society remains civilized.
When they refused to conform to the law, and recklessly flaunted it, the Attorney General gave the order to remove them from the compound by force. During that encounter, a fire began, caused by combustible materials inside the building. The government representatives had no way of knowing there was highly combustible heaters( or whatever they were) inside the building. A conflagration started, and the cult members could still have vacated the compound as ordered. Instead the lunatics who controlled those sheep-like, so-called adults, ordered them into the basement-- and thereby caused them to lose their lives.
You know, you do have the obligation to use common sense when forming your political opinions. Some responsibility for logical thinking is required when you are a citizen of a democratic republic. |
