QCOM.....I was looking at Q's price chart, which does not look good, but you all know that. Interesting to note the divergence of Q from the NAS, starting in the third week in NOV,2001. Since that time vol has been low, except for a few times, and that was buying on the increase vol.

When looking at the time period from Nov to now the stock price chart looks, ah.....weak, ok, terrible. It has been in a down trend since the end of Nov, but for those keeping up on the Q, we know that the news has been good, or at least getting better. News is confirming qcom's objectives. Just look at China...how long was it that everyone was crying about how China was not going to go to CDAM. Now the nayslayers are saying China cdma is slowing,etc......can't win with those folks. But it appears that China is going to be the BEST part for Q.

I can understand Q going down with the markets, but this divergence from the nas since Nov is not good. And why??

We can look at the whole industry and say it is in a rather difficult position, but that was all caused by the GSM folks and their desire to push GPRS, EDGE, and WCDMA. Just look at Europe and the Billions lost there because of the GSM foolishness. So sad.

Anyway, this is just a rant, letting off some pressure so to speak. Qcom is pushing forward, and the future continues to look bright. Go Q!!
