XP loves RAM. I upgraded an old DELL Pentium III system...

Hi Bill. I have a Dell PIII XPS T600, purchased Oct/99 -- and now it's old?! <g> I am just about to attempt an upgrade to Windows XP. When I checked at the Dell site for XP compatibility, I wasn't sure if XP would work, so your note is encouraging. I've upgraded to 384mb RAM and the latest BIOS available. It also appears that I have to upgrade to Roxio's Easy CD Creator 5.0 version so the CD drive will work. Is that correct? Does anything have to be upgraded to ensure the DVD drive will work? Is there anything else you can think of that I need to upgrade?
