I think there is going to be a serious macroeconomic potential of inflation due to all this government spending, tax cuts, and a very loose FRB monetary policy. (and the US dollar can not reamin strong forever - important factor for Canadians) The problems may actually sneak up on us, from years of adding fuel to the economy to help it recover, it make recover too fast and burn the house down. I see it more in the 2004-2005 timeframe, after maybe another two years of irritating the heck out of the goldbugs ;) $500-600 is not an unreasonable target, IMHO.
