My Grandfather also had Parkinson's. Your right it is a very difficult thing to watch. The saddest part is the loss of physical function while the brain is still sharp. After watching another Grandma die from Alzheimer's I think being mentally fit and losing the physical side might actually be worse. Neither is pleasant for them or the family.
