If that $3.4 million gets even one kid to never touch drugs, it's money well spent.

I think the advertisement is a great idea, and hopefully it may cause a paradigm change of mindset about using them.

Drugs and terrorist groups are intrinsically linked due to the wealth that can be generated getting our kids hooked on their trash. And in the case of Colombia, we see those drugs that aren't pure enough to be sold overseas, winding up "frying" the minds of local kids.

Basuco use is endemic in Latin America amongst the poor. It is the dregs of the cocaine refining process and normally contains large quantities of harmful precursors, which effectively result in chemical "lobotomization".

It's one thing to pander drugs to spoiled rich folks in the US (relatively rich in comparison to Latin America), but to sell the lowest grade stuff to one's own people destroys any hope of climbing out of poverty.

Btw, I was in favor of the US Government warning drug users of the potential that Anthrax could be laced into Cocaine...

Considering the mail scare that we saw, I would theorize we could cut drug use by 50%.

Of course, since terrorists rely upon drugs to fund their operations, that would be biting the hand that feeds it.
