Mr. Solon's agenda is to prove that Americans are a bunch of cruel, heartless SOBs who themselves should be removed from the planet. Anything which interferes with that is rejected out of hand.

Fortunately, he is severely isolated in this. Most of his fellow Canadians are not in agreement with his viewpoint.
