How does the device manager identify the two CD-ROM drives? Right click 'My Computer' and select Properties then the Device Manager tab. Expand the CDROM section and look at the individual drives. If you click on one of them then the Properties button this will bring up the property sheet for the drive. From the Settings tab on this sheet you can reassign the drive letters.
