Bush demands that the DOD (Department of Defense) pick up the pace on the search for Bin Laden.... Bush said in a closed door conference to his followers, "Cheney get your fatigues on head for Pakistan and stay there until this Enron thing blows over". "I'll tell the press that you are personally taking charge of the search for Bin Laden, leave all important (Enron) documents in your office close to the fireplace.....accidents to happen, but you will be out of the country" One last thing, "I don't expect you find Bin Laden for another nine months". and "No...Ken Lay cannot go with you" As Bush was leaving the conference he was heard to say, "Have John Dean call me, I need some advice" And so another day of strategy and planning came to a close at the White House....
