Rumors are that Rio Tinto and De Beers are very interested in the exploration of Jackson Inlet. The Stockhouse raging bull thread has more info in that regard, with some prominent shareholders discussing Rio Tinto staking land all around the Jackson Inlet properties, and De Beers people wining and dining the TWG people.

I guess the question to ask is, could TWG come up with the half billion plus canuck bucks to build the infrastructure, processing plant and security complex to mine and process the kimberlite at a decent rate to make enough money to make TWG worth a lot more than it is right now? The people who have the expertise to do that don't come cheap either.

I thought Winspear would mine their dyke,...they had the people in place, and seemed to have the financial backing to get the job done, but they backed off the project and sold to De Beers for a fraction of what the NAV of the project was calculated at.

We will have to see how things unfold.
