Bob, No way I'm going to go over the entire FTEL story, the days of "breast feeding" are over on this one.

For all newcomers, my suggestion is two fold, go to www.ftel.com and read the news releases and dial 1.800.372.6556 and talk to the company. Yesterday I listed Frank, Alan London for hardware info, Neil and Sparrow for service info, and Helen for overall info. They should call them and get the skinny.

As for your concern regarding the recent hiring and lack of news on shipping, that too crossed my mind. I called Frank and aired my concern, his reply was that all the older product production is more then covering the tab for labor costs. In fact he implied that this older product sales was extremely profitable and emphasized, EXTREMELY.

There seems to be so much going on at one time, that is easy to get side tracked on minor details. Just yesterday I found out that the beta testing of the Cyclone product has resulted in many new features being added to the product. Also that over 20 different clients make up the beta testing, with three potential major clients waiting in the wings to be shipped later in the month. When pressing for some names of these three potential clients I was told that they are all household names.

There also is several variations or configurations of the Cyclone and hybrid products that give FTEL an edge in meeting the specifications of a broad based market. Alan London was talking about the universal appeal that this new group of product brings to the marekt place and has very high expectations. This is from a guy that left a modem mfg that was doing over 2 mill a month, and he said that FTEL is bristling with opportunity and he has never regretted leaving the former company. He said that FTEL is exceeding his wildest expectations.

Call him, and ask. This isn't hype, it's the mans true feelings based on seeing the progress that is being acheived.
