Arnie, they don't have to be mutually exclusive. My point is this perceived problem (I don't believe it is a problem) has been floating for at least a year and a half. Esinger has written two articles on the exact same issue for two differ employers. Elan did nothing but release a few Geaney statements that the accounting was within acceptable standards. Obviously, that did nothing to prevent last week's panic.
