Secondly, Noyce, Grove and Sanders were all close friends; and there are things one shouldn't do to close friends. Grove, if he wanted to end the relationship, should have been more diplomatic about it, and set an agreed termination date sometime in the future both could have lived with. Shutting AMD off cold turkey, and hoping Jerry would just roll over and die, wasn't the greatest plan Intel could have thought of.
