Window NT is catching on. I doubt. Before window 95 release every one said that window 95 will replace windows3.1. UNIX is still much much better window NT in terms of performance and reliablity. Probably a lot of corp will use window NT to replace windows3.1 for those client site machine. SUNW is not making a lot of money in Java. that's strategy to build market share. One thing I am sure is that Java is helping SUNW sell a lot of hardware(internet or intranet server). SUNW is taking away a lot of business from DEC/HP/IBM/SGI and other UNIX machine. Internet growth is crazy. More and more corps provide WEB information and on-line services on internet. How many percent is window NT ? How many percent is UNIX and how many percent is SUNW's solaris ?
