CR - Herald Tribune Sat Feb 02 great front page article by Eric Pfanner entitled:-

Next-Generation Cell Phones: Only the Fittest Firms Will Survive.

I am sorry that I can't find the article on the Website:-

iht.com

It is the only article today that is not on their website. I can't imagine how that happened but it refers mainly to SPs
and how they can't seem ot find a business model that tells them that customers will pay more for a data service.

Says GPRS is stalled with very few customers. Says that the dream of European SPs is to be able to put images of
soccer players scoring goals on the handset screens. But unfortunately it says that dream is far away etc etc

Doesn't mention the US much, or Korea or Inchon or cdma at all.

Other than that it is a very well informed article and not niec reading for the GSM cabal or the European SPs.

Best,

L
