RI: Would you be able to, as a CEO, promise investors that you have no accounting problems that would ultimately lead to real trouble for Cisco down the road?

JC: Well, Ron, I think that is a very loaded question. What you are really saying is: Are all of us in the industry disclosing in the way that is proper and the detail? Yes. I think you're going to see that from every CEO. I believe most Americans are honest. I believe most CEOs are honest. I believe most people in the news media are very honest. And I believe if there are exceptions, they should be dealt with and dealt with firmly.
