john murphy on xau and other metals here is a link to john murphy's 2/2/02 opinion on the xau, cu/al stocks, and some other things. if you don't have time to check it, he says you better get some gold miners before they get some respect. also he shows the industrial metals are set to go too. you may have seen him on cnbc friday pushing nem and fcx. i was glad to see that. i like murphy. several quarters ago he was pushing road when it was about 28/29, and it cratered several days later. i picked some up at about 19.5 or 20 and sold it for about 28. then i tried to be too cute and would not chase it when it came back down to about 20. if you check, road doubled from there. i think murhpy's inputs are pretty reasonable. murphymorris.com
