Department of Justice (DOJ) labels Enron, Its officers and Shareholders a Terrorist organization. A casket faced DOJ official, Ashcroft, with the Secretary of the Treasury as his side named Enron, its officers and shareholders a terrorist organization. This was done on a Saturday afternoon because most of the important politicians and reporters were busy at the Super Bowl parties. Also being a Saturday this would not materially effect the markets. Here's how Ashcroft put it all together.... Two years ago Bin Laden invested in one of Enron partnerships through a blind trust set up by Merrill Lynch from their regional offices is Islamabad. Bin Layden was smart enough to know that if the oil markets perceived turmoil in the middle east that the value of these partnerships would rise dramatically. So Enron, Merrill Lynch and all shareholders are considered co-conspirators. The whole thing according to Secretary of the Treasury 0'Neil qualified as a blind trust because all of the the Merrill accountants and advisors were totally blind as to how this would play out. The FBI got into the act and started seizing assets of all the co-conspirators under the no tolerance racketering act, whereby the owners of a single share of Enron stock got their got their Ford Escorts confiscated along with those that owned BMW's and Lexus's. So far on this Saturday morning the FBI had confiscated 200 Escorts 20 BMW's and 15 Ford Expedition's as well as 23 Camels, 16 Mules and a herd of Goats said to belong to Bin Laden in Afghanistan. Many Democratic and Republican congressmen and women will have to take a Taxi to work on Monday if the confiscation program continues through the week-end. O'Neal and Ashcroft who were pleased with what they had accomplished so far, (while the boss Bush was away )responded to criticism by saying, "We are going to trace this terrorism thing right down to the roots...even if it hurts...we might be dumb..but we are not stupid..." President Bush will find out about this program by reading the Sunday New York Times. (to be continued) Jerome
