"July 1, 1997 -- StarNet -- in the on-line version of the Arizona Daily Star -- has announced pricing on its xDSL offerings. The service is priced at $109 per month for "typical consumer service" plus a $1000 set-up fee. The service uses copper pairs from Brooks Fiber Communications, and DSL modems from Paradyne."
