re, #reply-17001643 ... norton internet security (also known as norton personal firewall) can be set to do the exact same thing... block all inbound and all outbound if so desired, and set rules automatically or manually, for one time or for all times. very configurable. nis and npf have become much better products over just the last 2 years.
