Thanks for the post. It appears taht both the Intel/Rambus and the memory industry Cnsortium initiative have 1999/2000 for time horizon. I wonder if Intel's commitment to Rambus is merely a ploy to get the memory chip consortium to overcome the commitee syndrome and DELIVER ( not just talk) the high speed solution which the new chips need since Intel clearly wants the video game players to move to Intel based PC's.
