Bosquedog:

Regarding a problem with a new Seagate 40 Gig drive I installed a week or so ago that only showed 8.4 Gigs. Well, I searched the bowels of the Seagate.com site and came up with a DiskManager program that uses DDO. I had to load Windows on the drive first, ran this program from the DOS prompt and presto! The drive is now showing the full 40 Gigs, well 39 actually. Had to install Windows again when the drive was partitioned and formatted but I've become an expert in reloading Win 98SE.

Thanks again for your suggestions.
