Depends on your quote source. I download about 1600 stocks a night and it takes about 2-3 minutes using Dial Data on Broadband. Scans take less than a minute, usually about 15 seconds but it depends on how many you run and how complex the numbers are you are crunching. Note I am still using MetaStock 6.52 and haven't upgraded to version 7 yet. Good Luck, Lee
