Pearl Found Dead American Reporter Found Shot to Death by Road abcNews.com Feb. 3 — A Wall Street Journal reporter who disappeared in Karachi, Pakistan, on Jan. 23 has been found fatally shot at the side of a road, sources told ABCNEWS. Daniel Pearl was dumped out of a car in Karachi with several bullet wounds, sources with the Karachi police said. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
