NEWS FLASH TO E.T. (and to the leftist media): Companies and even non-profit special interests work to influence all politicians' policies in every conceivable subject matter, at every level! Wherever you live (unless it's a cave), local builders and developers lobby for zoning and development policies that benefit them. They might even make campaign contributions to candidates who share their views! Some of them might even have some good ideas and be successful in their zoning and development efforts, and a handful of them might even have bad or illegal accounting practices! There. The big secret is out. You may quote me in tomorrow's headline news.
