"and thus separate oneself from God"

At the level of the Absolute, nobody is ever separated from
God.

At the level of practical everyday EGOIC experience virtually everybody is separated from God.

The second statement is not in conflict with the first, because the "self-contraction" is an activity of the ego which results in "egoic experience". The self-contraction arises in God.

Bill, the conflicts between your view and others arise by
virtue of somewhat different models, I think.

Namaste!

Jim
